This very peaceful and what I would call confident (in human terms) being was happy to hang around while I captured his image. All of the anemone-like appendages have a sort of digestive mechanism about them, meaning that the being doesn't have a need for a mouth. The food is processed by the appendages right then and there, and absorbed into the body. They were swaying in the water, or plasma, or whatever he was floating in (the surroundings appeared transparent to me), and I gasped more than once at at the elegance of this creature.
He was a highly sentient being, and way more evolved than me with respect to awareness of the process of integration. Plus, a whole lot more humble and totally OK with his current expression. No name or more specific locale other than Sirius A was given. Baby steps while I work on these connections.
This work was painted on multiple layers with my eyes closed the majority of the time. Previous layers are hidden, so I don't see the finished product until everything is drawn. There was only very slight manipulation of a couple of hues in the background, and it was done.
Created in Rebelle 3 on black Mulberry paper.
Finished in Photoshop.
