Mickey died as a human in the 1970's, I have recently found out. He's been opening up regarding his last life recently, but still refuses to tell me how he died. I can only surmise, he was just past his 32nd birthday and he was a friend of Janis Joplin, so.....hmmm.
In any case, he and I share a love for the 1970's groove style, and I made a whole series of groovy backgrounds for him. He stressed that he doesn't want his images to have that "ghostly dead-person feel about them" because he isn't dead at all. Just no longer incarnating in human bodies, which is certainly not the same thing.
Mickey directed the creation of his face using Reallusion Character Creator and iClone 7, and then I manipulated some of my own paintings for the background in Procreate. In total there were 8 layers of paintings and Mickey parts.
I was planning for these to be NFTs but with the state of them nowadays, I could die waiting for a reason to mint them. So up they go here for your groovy pleasure.
He and I are going back and forth about allowing AI to regenerate art from his image. Never thought I'd be negotiating with a non-physical entity about such things, but here we are.
